A fruity start to the day

Fruit Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 can v8 fusion
  • 1/4 c coconut milk
  • 3 heaping T vanilla Greek yogurt OR plain Greek yogurt + 1 tsp honey + 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 spinach cubes (directions below)
  • 1/2 c mixed frozen fruit
  • 1/2 of a fresh or frozen banana 
  • 1 T frozen cranberries
  • 1 T oats
  • 1 1/2 tsp flax seed
      
Directions:
  1. Throw all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Enjoy!
  2. Makes 2 servings.
Spinach Cubes
  1. Throw spinach into a blender. Add enough water to moisten it. Blend until smooth.  
  2. Pour into ice cube trays. Allow to sit for a couple hours until frozen through. 
  3. Take out of trays and place in freezer bag. Great for breakfast smoothies!
