Homemade Easy Mac. YUMMY.

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese in a Cup

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c whole grain elbow macaroni
  • 1/3 c + 1/4 c Water
  • heaping 1/3 c shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese
  • 2 tsp. milk
Directions
  1. In a microwave safe mug or bowl (make sure it is a big one or it will boil over)
  2. Put macaroni and water 
  3. Microwave for 6 minutes, stirring at 4 minutes, 2 minutes, and 1 minute. 
  4. The pasta should be cooked and there will be a tiny bit of thick pasta water in the bottom. Leave this water. Add cheese. 
  5. Return to the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds to melt the cheese. Stir well, adding a small splash of milk.
