Chinese Food is SO Good!

Russ' Egg Drop Soup
Ingredients:
  • 3 c water
  • 3 chicken boullion cubes
  • 1 chopped green onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ – 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 – 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 – 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp ginger powder
  • ¼ tsp basil
  • 1/8 tsp thyme
  • ½ – 1 tbsp corn starch
Directions:
  1. Bring water and bullion to a boil, add onion, salt, pepper, ginger, basil and thyme. 
  2. Lower heat to a simmer. While stirring with a whisk, slowly pour in beaten eggs. 
  3. After the eggs have been mixed in, add soy sauce. 
  4. Mix the cornstarch with twice as much water. Pour in the cornstarch mixture as you stir. 
  5. Allow to cook for a couple more minutes, or until thick.
