My Review:I picked up this series kind of by accident. And I have to say, I'm glad I did! It was a very fun series. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, characters, and events. You never knew what was going to happen next, which portal the kids would end up going through and what adventures they would find on the other side! The kids end up on the titanic, in China during the Hun invasion, and even in the streets with Christ. Adventure after adventure, injury after injury, it is just one thing after the other! The poor children lose their mom in the first book and they desperately search for her the rest of the series. In the end I liked this series a lot, but it definitely had imperfections along the way. The characters were annoying at times, not being very smart about what they were doing. If you're looking for a fun summer read, this series would be a great choice! Suspense, adventure, unlikely heroes... Great!
