My Review: I liked that the chapters were really short. It made it a really fast read even though it seemed a bit big when picking it up. It was nothing like what I expected. Human experimentation? Flying children? Yeah, totally not what I expected from a simple mystery novel. So it was surprising, which was fun. Didn't appreciate the sex scenes and language though... But overall it was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. I didn't like how the author kept jumping around from one point of view to the next. When I started "When the Wind Blows" it was very confusing. Basically, I didn't love the authors writing style. I thought the material was interesting enough, although not a topic that generally peeks my interest. In the end the mystery and suspense were good enough to keep me going, but that was about it. Not my favorite or least favorite book. It was very so-so for me.
